PAM100-Si On-line Silicate Monitor
Measurement Principle
This instrument adopts the silicomolybdate blue photometric colorimetry. According to the Beer-Lambert Law, when a monochromatic light with corresponding wavelength passes through a colored solution, the light intensity will decrease because part of the light is absorbed by the light-absorbing particles in the colored solution. The relationship is as follows:
Where: IT is the transmitted light intensity, I0is the incident light intensity, L is the liquid layer thickness, C is the solution concentration, and K is a constant.
This is the Beer-Lambert Law, and this instrument analyzes and calculates the measured substance in the water sample according to the above formula.

This online silicate monitor applies the silicomolybdate blue photometric colorimetry, based on the Beer-Lambert Law.
