PROBEST PUVCOD-900 is a UV254 spectrometer organic water sensor adopting ultraviolet absorption principle to detect soluble organic pollutants in water by SAC254 spectral absorption coefficient. It can convert real-time data
into COD, BOD and TOC values via KHP calibration. This immersion online water probe requires no chemical
reagents, delivers fast response, supports automatic cleaning and MODBUS RS485 communication, widely used for
sewage plant, industrial effluent, surface water and aquaculture wastewater continuous organic load monitoring.
The PROBEST PUVCOD-900 Spectrometer Organic Sensor is a reagent-free in-situ water quality monitoring probe
independently developed by PROBEST, designed for long-term continuous online measurement of organic
contamination in all types of water bodies. Based on 254nm UV light absorption characteristics of dissolved organic compounds, the sensor calculates SAC254 absorption coefficient and converts readings to COD, BOD and TOC concentration with standard KHP calibration, eliminating the need for sampling, chemical reagents and complicated pre-treatment procedures compared with traditional laboratory chemical analysis methods.
