PROBEST implements TQM (Total Quality Management)
What is Total Quality Management?
Purpose: The primary purpose of Total Quality Management is to improve the quality of PROBEST water analysis products and services. Through the methods and tools of TQM, organizations can continuously identify and eliminate defects and problems in the production process to ensure that water monitor products and services meet customer expectations. Only by providing high-quality water analyzer products and services can the organization earn the trust and loyalty of its customers;
ACTION: So PROBEST implemented TQM (Total Quality Management); the activities of developing quality, maintaining quality, and improving quality in all departments within the organization were constituted as one and implemented according to an effective system. BIQ (Built-In Quality) and QAM are important aspects of this.
BIQ is more than just a set of tools to improve quality. It is a culture of solving problems quickly after they occur, eliminating or preventing them, and communicating clearly with suppliers and customers to achieve continuous improvement and meet all expectations.
In TQM, our PROBEST not only reflects the data related to BIQ of each department, but also the monthly quality checklist of QAM completion, and also includes the in-plant pass rate, out-plant defective rate and incoming material pass rate, which comprehensively reflects the new concept of quality production.
How do we at PROBEST realize BIQ?
1. Internal training, Quality Assurance Department through the BIQ internal training for each department, so that from the department head to the grass-roots staff to understand the meaning and implementation of BIQ, know why.
2. Output Audit Forms. Assist and guide each department to complete their own BIQ audit form. Different departments have different indicators, and the audit form should be customized to the daily work of each department. We will continue to update the forms in conjunction with the work of each department.
3. Monthly self-inspection: After clearly defining the audit form, each department leader should complete the self-inspection of each checklist point at the end of each month to confirm the completion of the monthly quality construction.
4. Review and organize the summary, by the quality assurance department in the last week of each month on the completion of the department's BIQ audit, for the failure to meet the standards of the matter to do focus on follow-up, and summarize the output of the master table.
QAM input:
1) Customer complaints. 2) Work instructions. 3) Internal defects. 4) PFMEA (Process Potential Failure Mode and Effects Analysis).
Purpose of QAM:
1)High risk should be reflected in the key points of the operating instructions.
2)To provide prioritization for improvement.
3)Motivate employees to ensure good working conditions.
4)Risk assessment of work methods is built into the operating instructions.
5)Focus on operations.
6)QAM supports and enhances PFMEA (Process Potential Failure Mode and Effects Analysis).
